As I dole out my morning vitamins it dawns on me that I really have no need to eat, this many vitamins should fill me up right? So of course the first thing I do is set up my little studio and camera and begin shooting, right? ;)
Well, it is finally here! My sweet Canon 400D, after biting all my nails off waiting for its arrival (thanks DHL, three strikes your out... next day 10 a.m. was yesterday morning, not tonight at 31 hours later)... but I digress and I repeat.. it is here! :D
So here is the first pic.... I have so much canon lingo to learn, I feel like such a nooblet™
So, I have been sweating the past couple weeks, well ok, the last month about the purchase of the camera and well... this morning we finally did it! We clicked *buy now* /dies a little
So we are now the soon to be proud owners of a Canon XTi 400D along with all the bells and whistles that came with it! I think I am still sweating bullets though, even though I have been researching which camera I want for months now I was still so omg nervous about making such a large purchase...
I think I need some more caffeine now to calm my heart right? hehe
I am seriously going to break out in hives waiting to get my new camera! Ugh... I think I am going to get just the Canon Rebel Xti though, it's like half the price and has so many good things written about it. Well.. only one more week though to make up my mind and then I get to blow a grand in one fell swoop!!!!
Secondly, Yay for old friends coming back! Phillip and I stopped talking a few years back.. some falling out or some such.... Well I got home tonight and I have a request to add a contact..I looked... then looked again, my jaw dropped and yay I have my friend back. We were best friends for quite some time, our characters were married to each other in Star Wars Galaxies. Things just clicked right off as if we never stopped talking.
